For preK to 5th-grade students
Cold weather won't stop us! Join us for a hands-on afternoon where kids will learn to start seeds, set up an indoor nursery for our school garden, cook a healthy lunch together from scratch, and explore the plant growth cycle. We'll dream about warmer weather, ripe tomatoes, and everything we're going to grow this season. Every child goes home with herb seeds to start their own garden at home!
WHAT WE'LL DO
Learn how to start seeds and prep trays
Explore soil health and germination
Set up an indoor nursery for the school garden
Cook a healthy lunch together from scratch
Learn about the plant growth cycle — seed to harvest
Plan our dream school garden
Take home herb seeds to grow at home
SCHEDULE Pickup at school dismissal, no extra dropoff needed! Class ends at 4:30 PM.
